ELO has four luxury villas, accommodating two people each, and two family villas, accommodating six people each. The room’s double-height ceiling creates a dramatic, airy atmosphere, allowing natural light to flood the space and making it feel even more generous and open.

At 110 square meters, the room comfortably accommodates not just an upstairs sleeping area, but also a downstairs private lounge, dressing area, and potentially a work or reading nook.

This not only conserves fossil fuels but also guarantees a quiet, off-grid experience with minimal environmental disruption.

ELO features a biological sewage treatment system that safely purifies wastewater on-site. Treated water is repurposed for irrigation or other non-potable uses, preventing pollution of the delicate Delta ecosystem and promoting water conservation. The lodge includes an oil separation facility to handle kitchen and machinery waste. Oils and hazardous liquids are filtered out before any water is released or recycled, protecting both the soil and groundwater from contamination.

Construction materials are carefully chosen for their recyclability and natural origins. This means commercially grown timber, canvas , and other locally sourced, sustainable resources are prioritized, reducing the carbon footprint and supporting local craftsmanship.All non-biodegradable waste, such as plastics and metals, is sorted and transported to Maun for responsible recycling. This ensures minimal landfill use and supports Botswana’s broader environmental.
